Confirmations for course bookings will be given on payment of a deposit (€ 200,00 or amount requested by our office). For cancellations received at least 15 days before the beginning of the course, half the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations received less than 15 days before the beginning of the course, no refund will be made. In case a student is not able to participate in the course she/he has booked, and she/he has given notice about this 7 days prior the beginning of the course, we will keep the deposit and give her/him the opportunity to change the course dates within one year. Any action in court will be dealt by the Court of Montepulciano.
There will be no lessons on the following Italian public holidays: 6th January, Easter Monday, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th August, 1st November and 8th December.
If there is no suitable group available to an applicant, the school will offer 2 hours of individual tuition per day at the same price of the booked course. If the group consists only of two students the school will offer 3 hours of lessons per day. This way we avoid placing students in a level that is either too low or too high for them, and we’re able to guarantee that all students receive the same quality and attention year-round.
Information for clients on the protection of personal information (Legislative Decree 196 of 2003)
With this notice, the Società Sophia of Patrizia Porreca and Co. s.n.c., communicates that personal information and any other data obtained during the course of the contractual relationship, will be subject to the binding force of confidentiality, and will be treated with the utmost respect for the privacy and the rights of the individual through the systematic application on our part of appropriate measures for the guarantee and protection of information, whether obtained by hard copy or electronically, commensurate with the specifics of the information itself (simple personal data or information that is sensitive or legal).
In accordance with and for the legal purpose of L.D. 196/03, we inform our Client that their personal information will be used solely for the ends determined by the contractual relationship and such use will not exceed those ends (including accounting and administrative).
In addition, we inform our Client that their data may used for commercial and promotional purposes related to the products and services offered by our Company, and that for this use of their data we request their consent. Lack of consent on the part of the Client prohibits our Company from using their personal information for the purpose of commercial activities. Where it is formally requested by the Client, they may assert their rights as defined in Article 7 (including revision, integration and cancellation of their data, and refusal of consent for promotional activities).
In accordance with and for the legal purposes of L.D. 196/03, custodian of the handling of data is our company in the person of its Legal Representative.
