Let's take lessons walking around the city, sipping a coffee or a spritz in our favorite bars, talking about art, history, local produce and old traditions.
Itinerary (3 hours per day, 50 minutes each)
9 am - 11:30 am or 2 pm - 4:30 pm
Here is an example of a weekly schedule. The program can be modified to meet the needs of the participants.
Day 1 - Monday - Welcome to Montepulciano
A chat and a coffee or an ice cream, a walk along the Corso, a visit to churches and monuments.
Day 2 - Tuesday - The history of Montepulciano
Piazza Grande with its palaces, the Cathedral, visit of the museum (or climb to the town hall tower). Tickets included. Visit of a historic cantina and wine tasting.
Day 3 - Wednesday - Il Renaissance
Walk to the Temple of San Biagio, a masterpiece of the late Renaissance, visit to the church, picnic (not included).
Day 4 - Thursday - Local produce
Class at the weekly market. Sandwich with porchetta in the park.
Day 5 - Friday - The landscape
Walk in the countryside and goodbye aperitif.

Questo corso è un modo meraviglioso per saperne di più su Montepulciano e la sua storia mentre pratichi la lingua italiana attraverso la conversazione. Ho particolarmente apprezzato la visita a San Biagio e apprendere di questa bellissima chiesa e dell'arte al suo interno. Mi sono piaciute molto le escursioni pomeridiane con Sara e aver potuto continuare a migliorare le mie capacità di parlare attraverso conversazioni individuali.
