Everything you need to know about Il Sasso

The school is open all year round.
There will be no lessons on the following Italian public holidays: 6th January, Easter Monday, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th August, 1st November and 8th December.
Total number of classrooms: 8 + 1 conference hall. Restroom for disabled people available.
Small library for students, book sharing, DVDs, panoramic terrace for students.
Free wifi.
Laundry-mat at a 5 minutes walk from the school.
Opening hours: 8 am - 4 pm (office)
9 am - 4 pm (lessons)
Saturday and Sunday the school is closed.

Courses/Lessons: There is no registration fee. An academic hour is defined as 50 minutes.

Group courses: 3-10 participants (average: 5-6 students per class)
The group courses consist of 4 hours of lessons per day (50 minutes each) from Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week.
Schedule: 9:0 am - 10:30 am, break, 11:00 am - 12:00 am, break, 12:10 am - 1:00 pm
If the group consists only of two students the school will offer 3 lessons per day. If there is no suitable group available to an applicant, the school will offer 2 individual lessons per day at the same price of the booked course.

Individual tuition is available both morning and afternoon.

Culture courses: always available, even though it is possible that they are held as individual tuition instead of group classes. The costs change according to the number of participants.

Mini-courses: two or three afternoons per week, for students interested in getting to know more about Italian life and culture. Fixed dates. Minimum three participants. In order to join the courses, an elementary knowledge of the Italian language is required.

The minimum age for enrolment is 16 years. There is no maximum age.

Levels based on the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" of the European Council: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. At the end of the course students receive an attendance certificate.

Students who already speak some Italian may start classes every Monday, whereas newcomers to the language must start at the scheduled starting dates.

From mid March to the end of October, orientation and welcome coffee every 2 weeks (at the beginning of each beginner's course) from 8:30 to 9:30.
